A man stabbed his former roommate Tuesday morning in a Minnehaha neighborhood house, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

The assault was reported at 8:48 a.m. at 5005 N.E. 46th St., in the central Vancouver area. After stabbing his roommate, the man left the house, Sgt. Tony Barnes said.

Many people in the house witnessed the incident, Barnes said, and police searched for the suspect that afternoon. Additional details were not available Tuesday evening.
