ARLINGTON — SEATTLE — Receding floodwaters at the site of the deadly mudslide at Oso were helping in the search for human remains by exposing more sites that can be examined, officials said Tuesday.
Officials also said the confirmed death toll from the March 22 slide has risen from 27 to 28. Twenty-two of those victims have been identified.
The latest names added to the list were Thom E. Satterlee, 65, Lon E. Slauson, 60, and Adam Farnes, 23. All had blunt force injuries listed as the cause of death, the medical examiner’s office said.
