• Brent Wilson has joined the Vancouver communications agency AHA! as executive creative director. Wilson previously was senior vice president and group creative director at Momentum Worldwide at its St. Louis office, which has five offices in the U.S. and 36 worldwide. AHA! has a staff of 70.

o C.M. “Mort” Bishop, president of Portland-based Pendleton Woolen Mills, was named the Port of Portland’s 2013 Compass Award recipient at the port’s annual “Gateway to the Globe” meeting Monday. Founded in 1863, Pendleton was also recognized as one of Oregon’s heritage enterprises and a foundation for the Northwest’s outdoor gear and apparel industry. The company operates a weaving mill in Washougal.

o Dustin Meyer of Ridgefield has won the 2014 Core Value Award from Corwin Beverage Company. Meyer has been with the company for two years. Employees are nominated and chosen by Corwin employees.

o BNSF Railway honored two Vancouver employees at its 2013 Employees of the Year ceremony held recently in Fort Worth, Texas. Christopher Delargy, terminal superintendent I, transportation, and Dale Larsen, general foreman I, mechanical, were awarded Best of the Best Recognition. The railway company recognized the two workers for their outstanding safety leadership in 2013. Their work teams achieved exceptional safety performance in 2013; each work group was injury-free.

Other business news

• Audigy Group, a Vancouver-based medical management company, was recently chosen from 100,000 U.S. companies as a Model for Consistent Growth in Inc. Magazine’s Build 100 list. The companies that made the final list increased staff every year from 2007 to 2012. Audigy Group, which has appeared repeatedly on Inc.’s rankings of the fastest-growing companies in the country, appears to bear this theory out, having shown steady revenue growth of 161 percent over the past four years.
