PUYALLUP — Neighbors at a Puyallup mobile home park saw a woman come running out of her home in flames, screaming for help.

They put out the flames with garden hoses Monday night and medics took her to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with burns over most of her body.

KIRO reported Maria Bazan, 35, is in critical condition. Neighbors say she told them she was knocked out by her boyfriend and woke up on fire.

Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer told The News Tribune she had been doused with gasoline and set afire by her boyfriend. He burned himself in the process and drove off. He was arrested in Lakewood.

About three hours later, flames erupted and destroyed the home at the Hidden Glen Mobile Home Park.
