B.G. woman injured after crashing on 502, rolling onto I-5

A Battle Ground woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning when her SUV left state Highway 502 and rolled onto Interstate 5.

Luann Morales, 51, was injured in the crash, , reported at 7:41 a.m., and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

Morales was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer west on Highway 502 and was taking the ramp to north I-5 when she went off the right side of the road, according to the Washington State Patrol. She overcorrected to the left, crossed the onramp and struck the jersey barrier, rolling onto I-5, according to State Patrol. The crash blocked one lane of I-5 for about half an hour.

Morales was in satisfactory condition Tuesday night. State Patrol cited her for improper lane usage.
