The Knight Cancer Institute is seeking melanoma survivors, their families and friends to join a new Oregon Health and Science University Community Melanoma Registry.

The registry is open to anyone interested in attending community and educational events and possibly participating in future melanoma research. Those who join the registry can choose whether and how they want to participate and can leave the registry at any time.

The registry is a secure, privacy-protected, confidential database. The registry is one of a series of efforts OHSU is undertaking to reduce melanoma deaths in Oregon.

For more information about the registry, visit http://www.ohsu.edu/xd/health/services/dermatology/war-on-melanoma.cfm.
