Pacific Power Products has changed its name to Pacific Power Group. The Ridgefield company said the new name better reflects the company’s larger scope of product lines and markets.

The privately held company primarily offers sales and service of new and remanufactured engines, power-generation products, commercial trucks, commercial turf equipment, golf carts and marine power solutions. It operates facilities in 17 states including Washington and Oregon, and provides services in seven additional Western States.

“Pacific Power Group is a collection of diverse operating divisions, so we took on the challenge of looking at our brand through the eyes of our customers and concluded that changes were in order,” said Mark Dawkins, CEO of Pacific Power Group. “We are excited about our new name and the direction our company is headed.”
