Nordstrom has notified the state that it will lay off 142 employees at its Westfield Vancouver mall store Jan. 10, coinciding with the store closure announced in February. The Seattle-based retailer filed its layoff notice Friday with the state Employment Security Department. The company also is closing its store in Portland’s Lloyd Center in January.

Westfield Vancouver has not publicly identified a new tenant for the Nordstrom space in the east Vancouver mall.
