Kawamoto steps down from Housing Authority board

Hough — Ronald K. Kawamoto was honored with a reception upon his retirement from the Vancouver Housing Authority Board of Commissioners. He has been on the board for 11 years, and has served as both chairman and vice chair. He has been a commercial real estate broker with Norris, Beggs & Simpson since 1983. During the reception, current board chairman Art Miles praised Kawamoto’s “human touch” and his advocacy progressive policies and diversification of the types of housing and services provided by VHA.
