CORVALLIS, Ore. — Jarmal Reid and Malcolm Duvivier each scored a career-high 17 points to lead Oregon State past Rice 67-54 in the season opener for both teams on Friday night.
Seth Gearhart had 14 points for Rice, including three 3-pointers.
Rice shot 30.8 percent, compared to 45 percent for Oregon State.
