Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash about one mile north of Vancouver on state Highway 503 Wednesday night.
Christopher Schneider, 23, of Battle Ground was driving a green 2000 Honda CRV south on the highway near 99th Street at about 8:30 p.m. when he failed to yield to a northbound 2002 Chrysler Town & Country while attempting a left turn, according to Washington State Patrol.
The three occupants of the Chrysler were injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, according to the State Patrol.
Two passengers, Ryan Ruvolo, 22, of Battle Ground and 5-year-old Kennedy Smith were both treated and released from the hospital. Hospital staff did not have information on the driver, Tony Smith, 51, of Brush Prairie.
Schneider, who was not injured, was cited for failing to yield.
