PORTLAND — Portland police say two men suspected of mugging four pedestrians on the Burnside Bridge appear to be transients who attacked the victims while they were walking by.

Officers responded to a call at 2:15 a.m. Friday and found two naked men, one bleeding. They said they had been robbed by two men armed with a box-cutter who demanded their property including their clothes. Officers learned two other passers-by had been attacked as well.

The suspect fled below the bridge where they were located and arrested.
