PORTLAND (AP) — Gunfire in Gresham left a 10-year-old girl with a bullet wound to her leg that police say is not life-threatening.

Residents of the Rain Tree apartment complex called 911 after hearing gunfire about 9 a.m. Saturday; seconds later, another call came in about the injured girl.

The shooting struck several apartments.

Gresham police say they do not believe there is any connection between the shooter, described only as a man in dark clothes, and the injured girl.
