Camas — The Downtown Camas Association wants to add a bit more twinkle to the city by replacing old light strands on trees along Fourth Avenue. So far, the group has lit seven trees in downtown, with eight more to go. A fundraising campaign is underway for the task, with about $5,000 needed to meet the goal. “Our town is known for our tree-lined streets and the ambience the lighting creates,” said a post on the Downtown Camas Association’s website. “You can be a part of keeping our town looking charming and vibrant.” Learn more at www.downtowncamas.com/dca/donate-2/help-us-light-downtown-trees.
