Comment period extended on game management plan

OLYMPIA — Comments will be accepted through Nov. 17 on the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s draft 2015-21 game management plan.

The revised draft is available online at wdfw.wa.gov/conservation/game.

Dave Ware, state game manager, said there are changes in the revision involving predator-prey relationships, deer and elk predation and wolf, cougar and bear management.

The state Fish and Wildlife Commission, is scheduled to consider adoption of the plan at public meeting in December.
