SEATTLE — Police say the man responsible for a shooting Monday night in Seattle was 78 years old. They say he killed his 39-year-old daughter and 11-year-old granddaughter before killing himself.

Their names have not been released by the King County medical examiner’s office.

A 10-year-old boy called 911 to report the shootings at the south Seattle home. He was shaken but unhurt, police said.
