Battle Ground city councilor recognized for hydrant maintenance program volunteer work

Battle Ground — For his help repainting nearly 1,500 fire hydrants in the past 12 years, the Battle Ground City Council on Oct. 20 honored Councilor Bill Ganley with a fire hydrant on wheels. Ganley has been a member of the City Council since 1993 and a volunteer for the city’s Fire Hydrant Maintenance Program since 2002.
