Letter: Stonier is making a difference

The Columbian
Published: October 29, 2014, 12:00am

As independent voters, we despise extremism in politics on both sides. That’s why we’re voting to re-elect Monica Stonier as 17th Legislative District representative. Stonier’s bills have been bipartisan. She’s a moderate who serves her community, not her party. Her opponent is an extremist who will cause further division in government. Stonier worked with both parties to pass laws for education, breast cancer, firefighters, veterans, and job creation. She works hard for local businesses and schools and comes from a family of both Republicans and Democrats, of hard-working folks like us. Vote for Monica Stonier so she can keep bringing people together to improve our government and community.
