Letter: Colas’ skills can reshape office

The Columbian
Published: October 30, 2014, 12:00am

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren Colas for three years at a for-profit privately owned company. I discovered her skills for auditing and fact-finding are impeccable, as well as her attention to detail and innovative approach for streamlining processes. Clark County treasurer would be the perfect position to showcase her skill set and bring balance to a dilapidated office.

I feel the position as county treasurer should be a nonpartisan position. Regardless of my party affiliation, Vancouver needs change and electing Lauren Colas to this position is a step in the right direction.
