Letter: Dingethal aware of area’s needs

The Columbian
Published: August 31, 2014, 5:00pm

I’ll be voting for Bob Dingethal for 3rd Congressional District representative. Some friends and I spent a lively evening with him recently, and I found him smart, informed and a good listener. We threw a wide range of questions at him; each answer showed his awareness of relevant history and context, as well as current information that indicated he’s still open-minded and learning.

With 35 years’ experience in the public, private and nonprofit sectors, Dingethal has been successful in working with a myriad of people. He respects others’ opinions and as a congressperson will seek solutions that bring people together instead of polarizing. By reinstituting town hall meetings with constituents, he’ll have the knowledge he needs to truly represent the people of Southwest Washington.
