The Washington State Charter School Commission is hosting four public forums in Vancouver, Seattle, Tacoma and Sunnyside this month to hear from four charter school applicants. The forums are designed to ensure that the Commission can hear and learn from members of the communities where the charters would be sited.

The Vancouver meeting is 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Educational Service District No. 112, 2500 N.E. 65th Ave. in the Klickitat & Skamania rooms. The proposed charter school is Bilingual Charter Academy.
