An Oktoberfest celebration to benefit the Fort Vancouver Regional Library Foundation will be held from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at Shorty’s Garden and Home, 10006 E. Mill Plain Blvd.

Proceeds from the 11th annual event will help the nonprofit foundation support the programs and services provided to local communities by the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District.

Tickets to Shorty’s Oktoberfest can be purchased by the public, but Oktoberfest attendees must be 21 or older.

Advance tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at either Shorty’s Garden and Home location. Tickets can also be purchased online at the foundation’s website (www.fvrlf.org). Tickets purchased at the event will be $25.

All tickets include admission to the Oktoberfest celebration and one beverage token.
