Prep highlights: Camas beats Columbia River in volleyball battle of ranked teams

Lauren Harris had 14 kills and 24 digs, and Tina Elliott added 32 assists and 15 digs as Camas outlasted Columbia River in a non-league volleyball match on Tuesday.

Camas won 25-22, 25-18, 17-25, 15-25, 15-12.

Camas was ranked fourth in the Seattle Times first Class 4A state rankings. Columbia River was No. 3 at 3A.

Page Heller had 36 assists and four aces, while Evi Wilson had 10 kills and seven aces for Columbia River.

Stars of the day

• Taryn Ries, Ridgefield girls soccer, scored two first-half goals as the Spudders beat Skyview 2-0. Goalkeeper Sarah Kaufman had eight saves in the shutout.

• Alex Sanders, Union girls soccer, had two goals and two assists in the Titans’ 5-0 win at Wilsonville, Ore.

• Marion Lilly, Columbia River girls soccer, scored twice with assists from Sophia Keenan in the Chieftains 3-0 win over Mountain View..

• Brooke Van Sickle, Battle Ground volleyball, had 20 kills, 18 assists and two blocks as the Tigers defeated Prairie in four sets.

• Kristianna Troyer, Woodland girls soccer, scored twice to help the Beavers beat Heritage 4-1.

• Bella Gama, Ridgefield volleyball, had three aces, four kills, seven digs and 17 assists in a win over Kelso.

• Kayla Fredricks, Woodland volleyball, had five aces, five kills, six digs and was 20-22 serving in a win over La Center.

• Laura Martinez, Fort Vancouver volleyball, had 10 kills and five digs in a five-set win over White Salmon.
