OLYMPIA — Workers are in the third phase of a three-year project to clean and repair the Capitol in Olympia.

The state Department of Enterprise Service says this round will repair mortar joints and restore four skylights that have leaks. Workers also plan to remove and replace stone pavers on the exterior plaza for waterproofing and drainage.

The Olympian reports the goal is to complete the work in November and certainly before lawmakers return in January.
