UPDATE: Sondra O’Rourke was found Friday afternoon near downtown Vancouver, according to the Vancouver Police Department.

Here’s the original story:

Vancouver police are asking for help in their search for an endangered 68-year-old woman who was discharged from a hospital early Thursday but never returned home.

Sondra O’Rourke was supposed to return to her home in the 7000 block of Carolina Lane in Vancouver but never arrived, police said. She was reported missing at 7:44 a.m.

Police said that she boarded a C-Tran bus that goes from the Fisher’s Landing Transit Center in east Vancouver to a bus stop in Portland’s Parkrose area. She is considered endangered, according to Sgt. Patrick Kennedy.

“She has some medical conditions that requires some medication that she doesn’t have with her,” Kennedy said. “The longer she’s gone, the more concern there is about her medical condition.”

O’Rourke is described as a white female, about 5 feet tall and 250 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved purple sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call Vancouver police or their local law enforcement agency. The number for the Vancouver police tip line is 360-487-7399.
