Letter: Stewart’s integrity welcomed back

To vote is a privilege as well as one’s civic duty. To vote for the right candidate is the challenge. Careful consideration should be explored by intensive scrutiny of candidates for honesty, sincerity and above all, knowledge of the position they seek.

Jeanne Stewart, candidate for Clark County commissioner, has served as a civic-minded contributor on several commissions. As a former member of Vancouver City Council she proved her tenacity for what is right for all party affiliations and didn’t cater to special interest groups. Her ability to absorb information and present that collection of facts for the good of the community was exemplary. The follow-through of her dedication to citizens proved results, guaranteeing majority rules with voting and discussion.

I will vote for Stewart. She will bring honesty, integrity, and her knowledge forward. Please consider her as well, we need the welcome change.
