Strip club sign disturbs Seattle neighborhood

SEATTLE — Many neighbors in the Lake City area of Seattle are unhappy with the images of scantily clad women that are appearing on a new 16-foot LCD sign at a strip club.

The city’s Department of Planning and Development says the Dreamgirls at Ricks sign is not permitted to show video or images flashing more than seven pictures a minute.

KOMO reports a city inspector found the sign out of compliance Monday, and the club made requested changes within a few hours.

Neighbors are still unhappy with the content.
