RESERVE OFFICERS’ TRAINING

Emily Barbieri, a junior in the University of Portland’s nursing program, has graduated from Air Force ROTC Field Training at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, and was honored as a distinguished graduate. She is the daughter of Jim and Kristin Barbieri of Vancouver and a 2012 graduate of La Salle Catholic College Prep High School.

Michael A. Hantho, a student at Eastern Washington University, Cheney, has graduated from the Army ROTC Leader Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky. He is the son of Joyce and Paul Hantho of La Center and a 2012 graduate of La Center High School.

BASIC TRAINING

Navy Seaman Ekkia Guadalupe, son of Reba Otero of Vancouver, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. She is a 2013 graduate of Heritage High School.

Air Force Airman Courtney R. Loewen has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. She is the daughter of Barbara and Stephen Loewen of Camas and a 2013 graduate of Camas High School.

Air Force Airman Charles A. Lollar, a 2010 graduate of Evergreen high School, has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He is the son of Melinda Lollar of Vancouver and Gene Ferguson of Troutdale, Ore.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Emily A. Pulley, daughter of Angie Methot of Amboy, has completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Pulley is a 2014 graduate of Battle Ground High School.
