East Minnehaha — A Vancouver woman won big after gambling on a specially themed Washington State University lottery game in late August. Estella Gladden won $200,000 after purchasing a WSU Scratch ticket from Safeway, 6711 N.E. 63rd St. When she scanned the ticket and learned it was a winner, Gladden jumped in shock, scanning it again and again to make sure what she saw was true, according to a Washington Lottery press release. In addition to helping her family out financially, including helping her niece go to college, Gladden told lottery officials she planned to fulfill a dream of traveling to Tibet.
