SEATTLE — A problem at a Chicago airport is affecting a few airline flights in the Northwest.

Sea-Tac Airport spokesman Perry Cooper says there’s no major impact overall Friday morning but travelers should check with airlines or the FlightAware website. He says there could be a domino effect on flights scheduled from Chicago.

The airport’s website shows some arrivals and departures canceled, involving Southwest, American and US Airways.

The Oregonian reports some arriving or departing Chicago flights at Portland International Airport have been canceled or delayed.

All flights in and out of Chicago’s two airports were halted Friday morning because of a fire at a suburban Chicago air traffic control facility.
