MILWAUKIE, Ore. — Investigators say a cigarette started the fatal fire at a Milwaukie apartment building.
The victim died at the scene early Saturday at the Lake Crest Apartments.
Three other residents required medical treatment.
KATU reports dozens of people were evacuated. Several had to be carried out by firefighters.
