New farmers and artisans market to open at mall

Vancouver — A new farmers and artisans market will launch this weekend at the Westfield Vancouver mall.

“The Market At Vancouver Mall,” operated by Portland-Vancouver Events (PVEvents) will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday through Sept. 27. The market, near the south side entrance of the mall, will feature fresh local produce, food vendors, and specialty artisans, as well as local musicians.

PVEvents is co-owned by Dawn Hartwell and Tracey Carlson.” “We hope this new market location will provide easier access to locally grown food and goods for our shoppers and the greater community,” said J.B. Schutte, general manager of Westfield Vancouver.
