The Vancouver Wildlife League’s annual spring banquet will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the American Legion Hall, 4607 St. James Road. The social hour starts at 5:30 p.m.

The cost is $10 per person or $5 for youth age 12 and younger.

This is the final meeting of the group until September.

A raffle is planned at 7 p.m. Raffle tickets are $1 for a wide variety of items. A special raffle with $5 tickets is being held with the winner getting a choice between a guided fishing trip with Steve Leonard of Steve’s Guided Adventures and a 24-gun safe. The runner-up will get the prize not selected by the winner.

Limited seating remains.

Chuck Cheshire, league president, said the group is looking for new members. Membership costs $20 a year, with youth age 16 and younger given membership for free.
