CAMAS — Volunteers are needed on Saturday for the 13th annual Pick Up the Burn event to remove litter and care for state Department of Natural Resources’ recreation sites in the Yacolt Burn State Forest.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m., followed by a safety briefing at 9 a.m., at Jones Creek Off-Road-Vehicle trailhead. Lunch will be provided at 2 p.m. at the trailhead.

The event brings together hikers, off-road vehicle riders, mountain bike riders and horsemen to prepare the forest for the summer.
