A group of Tibetan Buddhist monks’ visit to Vancouver next month to build a sand mandala at Clark College has been postponed due to visa problems.

The six monks are having trouble obtaining travel documents needed to leave India, according to Clark College’s communications and marketing department. It’s possible the visit could be rescheduled for later in May.

The monks had been scheduled to start construction May 4 on the mandala.
