Would it not be possible to get a law whereby bicyclists must have a bicycle bell? Being on trails walking and constantly being passed by fast-moving bicyclists with no warning or a simple call out in the last minute is very disturbing to trail hikers and often dangerous. Bells are available from a few dollars and up, and it would increase the bikers-walkers relationship grossly.
