Camas Police Department officials are hoping photos and surveillance video will help capture suspects believed to be responsible for a rash of vehicle prowls in Camas.

According to a press release issued Monday, there have been more than 50 vehicle prowls in the past week and a half throughout the west side of Prune Hill. The thefts have resulted in perpetrations of fraud, identity theft and burglary. Most of the prowls have involved unlocked vehicles. Garage door remote controls have also been stolen or used to access garages.

One of the vehicle prowl victims recorded the theft on home surveillance video. To view the footage, as well as photos of two suspects, visit www.camaspostrecord.com.

Anyone with information about the suspects should call 911 and ask to speak with a Camas police officer.
