A Vancouver man sentenced Monday to more than six months in jail for trying to hire someone to attack two Westfield Vancouver mall employees will not serve any community custody following his jail time.

Alan D. Dietchweiler, 59, appeared in Clark County Superior Court on Tuesday to file his sentencing paperwork. Judge Scott Collier and the prosecution and defense all determined that community custody doesn’t apply to Dietchweiler’s case.

Dietchweiler was found guilty of solicitation to commit second-degree assault following a bench trial that concluded Aug. 6.
