Letter: C-Tran fails to connect

The Columbian

I was so hopeful when the Salmon Creek Interchange Project overpass was built that I wouldn’t have to walk almost a mile to the new Park & Ride and almost a mile back to make my bus connection. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen and in one week I may need to walk 10 miles just to make my connection. Writing and calling C-Tran for over a year has not produced any results. One representative told me that the Salmon Creek bus is really for WSU students and Legacy Hospital. To my knowledge, C-Tran is not a private bus. If so, then it needs to be marked “For WSU Students and Legacy Hospital only.” Why there is no connection in Salmon Creek to the Salmon Creek Park & Ride is beyond me.
