Published: December 1, 2015, 6:15am

Martha’s Pantry is holding its annual World AIDS Day observance at 6:30 p.m. today at First Congregational United Church of Christ, the church with the U-shaped roof at 1220 N.E. 68th St.

During the observance, there will be several speakers including a doctor, a case manager and somebody directly impacted by AIDS, said Michele Kruchoski, a volunteer at Martha’s Pantry. The pantry specializes in serving those with HIV/AIDS. As usual, there will be a candlelight vigil, a bell-ringing ceremony and refreshments for those who attend.

The event is free and open to the public.
