LONGVIEW — Officials say a Centralia woman whose body was found in the Cowlitz River died from drowning, but the manner of her death has been ruled undetermined.

The Daily News reports the Lewis County Coroner’s Office said Wednesday that it’s unclear whether the death of 33-year-old Elizabeth Pham was accidental or due to suicide or homicide. Her body was found in the river in late October.

Authorities say on Oct. 10 Pham got out of her car on Interstate 5 near Toledo and ended up in a taxi. The taxi driver, who dropped Pham off at a gas station, described Pham’s behavior to police as “unusual and confused.”

Authorities say Pham was last seen about two miles downriver from where her body was found.
