Bail has been set at $2 million for a Seattle man suspected of fatally shooting his 14-year-old niece.

The Seattle Times reported Si Phu, 24, was ordered held for investigation of first-degree murder Wednesday. Police arrested him Tuesday, ending a two-day manhunt.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office says Christy Phu died of a gunshot wound to the head.

The shooting occurred Sunday in the 3500 block of South Brandon Street in what relatives said was an argument over sneakers.

Officials say the girl, who was a freshman at Chief Sealth International High School, died at the scene.
