PeaceHealth Southwest hosts health fair

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is celebrating American Heart Month with a health fair.

The free Heart to Heart Health Fair is 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19 at the hospital’s Health Education Center, 600 N.E. 92nd Ave.

The health fair will include free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, healthy food samples, stroke assessments, COPD action planning, CPR demonstrations and physician presentations on understanding arrhythmia, living with congestive heart failure and heart healthy eating. Registered dietitians will also be on hand to answer questions.

The first 30 visitors will receive a free lipid screening.
