Clark County — Last autumn, the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington released initial results of a regional opinion survey it had commissioned. It’s part of an ongoing project called “500,000 Voices,” so named because that’s roughly the population of Clark, Cowlitz and Skamania counties. You can see those results and learn more about the project at http://www.500kvoices.org.

Or, go to Washington State University Vancouver on Thursday to find out about the next phase, and leave with your own copy of the summary report.

The Community Foundation and WSUV are cohosting what they call an “opening conversation” and will release the rest of the survey data. Also, WSUV will make an announcement “to shed light on the overall process and show how you can play a role” in its success.

The opening conversation is set for 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Dengerink Auditorium at WSUV, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver. After the first hour there will be an hour-long networking reception.

The event is free, but registration is required. Call Judy Lundeen at 360-952-4305 or judy@cfsww.org. You’ll get a free campus parking pass for the event.
