I must agree with Paula Colley, who wrote a Jan. 9 letter “Why can’t restrictions be enforced?” regarding the fireworks at Christmas and New Year’s. Why doesn’t our local government do anything about it? Are the profits from it so huge that they can just ignore what the public would prefer? I just don’t get it and I am so glad that Colley spoke up.
