PORTLAND — Bicyclists found thumb tacks Monday in the bikeway of the Hawthorne Bridge, Portland’s busiest bike bridge.

One shop found tacks in three flat tires it repaired.

Bike riders tell KOIN they feel it’s related to online attacks on bicycles because of roadway conflicts with car drivers.

Bikers say tacks also were scattered last Tuesday on the bridge bikeway.
