LAKE STEVENS — Human remains found Jan. 3 by a man cleaning up property at Lake Stevens have been identified as a missing woman, 18-year-old Summer Smith.
The Daily Herald reports her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Her mother last heard from her in November.
