I would like to thank Bill Gilchrist, traffic engineer, and the city of Vancouver’s traffic signal division for being responsive to my concerns about morning traffic backups on Andresen Road approaching Fourth Plain Boulevard.
Often, traffic would back up into the state Route 500 interchange area, and would prevent vehicles from turning onto Andresen Road from the ramps.
I talked with Gilchrist about my concern and the day before he left on vacation, he went out, looked over the situation and made changes. I hope those who use Andresen Road on a daily basis note that traffic backups are much shorter southbound approaching Fourth Plain Boulevard.
Thanks again to Gilchrist and the city’s traffic group.
