BOTHELL — The Washington State Patrol says a Kirkland woman, 38, drove the wrong way on state Highway 522 near Bothell and was killed when she collided head-on with another vehicle.

Trooper Dominic Ledesma said she was driving east in the westbound lanes near Interstate 405 just before 6 a.m. Friday, that officials don’t know why and don’t believe she was impaired.
