Girls basketball: Battle Ground 68, Mountain View 46

Alena Jarvis scored 23 points and Kylie Smith had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds in Battle Ground’s road victory.

The Tigers put the clamps on Mountain View in the first quarter with pressure defense and built their lead.

Jossilyn Blackman added 12 points and five steals, and Kayla Cruz had six assists for Battle Ground.

Emilly Moore led Mountain View in scoring with 17 points.
